As a Cyber Security Architect Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will serve as the Honeywell Security Professional in charge of supporting our core infrastructure and 200+ Operational Windows/Linux Workstations and Testing Appliances., You will report directly to our Information Systems Security Manager, and you'll work out of our Woburn, MA location on an onsite work schedule., * Responsible for updating internal processes to increase Information Security Team efficiencies.
- Will document our current and future Linux, Cisco, and Microsoft network architecture and work closely with our Information Systems Security Manager and Facility Security Officer to coordinate networking issues affecting our Production efforts.
- Will work daily to develop and update our robust cybersecurity policies that keep our systems secure.
- Supporting Operational Requirements to include troubleshooting/triage of customer IT tickets.
- Will administer the implementation of security measures to ensure compliance with government authorization requirements.
- Will maintain and administer our network using tools such as Trellix, Splunk, and Veritas Backup Exec, and Nessus.
- Will monitor and troubleshoot our closed Windows Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) network environment.
- Reviewing and auditing event logs, creating system backups, monitoring system performance and maintaining system security and overall compliance.
- Oversight of our Hypervisor Servers running under VMWare and Windows Hyper-V
- Knowledge on the use of STIG Viewer and SCAP, as well as Creating OS/SW baselines.
- Ability to use PowerShell scripting to accomplish/automate tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of relevant experience in administrating DoD/USG information systems, to include systems regulated by 32 CFR Part 117 or the NISPOM/DoD Branch Equivalent
- A Current or Active DoD Security Clearance (minimum Secret) at the time of hire.
- Minimum of IAT II Certification (CompTIA Security+)
- Ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must be highly organized and self-motivated with excellent documentation skills.
- Candidate should be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members at all levels., * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Demonstrated Windows administrative experience with a solid understanding of PowerShell and Windows automation functions
- A solid background patching, active directory, DNS, DHCP, and event log management.
- Experience in implementing and configuring Trellix/McAfee, Tenable Nessus, PowerStrux, Splunk.
- Experience in implementing and configuring multiple VMWare or Windows Hyper-V virtualized servers.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Cisco Catalyst Switches.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Triplite and APC Uninterruptible Power Supply systems.
- Robust network troubleshooting experience.
- IAT III Certification
- CompTIA - CySA+, CASP+
- ISC2's - CISSP
- ISACA - CISA, CRISC, CISM, Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
Benefits & conditions
The annual base salary range for this position is $114,000 - $142,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
