Job description
The reporting location for this position is Headquarters in Sacramento. This position works under the general direction of the Deputy Chief Information Officer and plays a pivotal role in critical application development services in support of the Administrative Services Division and Statewide Bond Office. The Information Technology Manager I (ITM I) will serve as the Financial Applications Development Manager of the Financial Applications Development Unit. The position's duties and activities are performed primarily within the Software Engineering technical domain. The incumbent has full management and technical responsibility for the Financial Applications Development Unit functions and resources. The ITM I will directly supervise information technology professional staff within the Financial Applications Development Unit, including positions at the IT Supervisor II, ITS I, and ITS II levels responsible for financial application development, data integration, reporting and dashboard development, and systems analysis. The ITM I will also serve as the primary Parks IT management liaison for coordination with the Deputy Director of Administration, Statewide Bond Office Chief, and external IT application development teams at California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA), Department of Water Resources (DWR), control agencies, and FI$Cal to ensure Agency Bond Consolidated Reporting System (ABCRS) and supporting bond data systems remain aligned with enterprise standards and interagency requirements. Training and Development Assignments may be considered.
