Job description
Pre-Acquisition Partnership & Diligence
· Partner with Corporate Development to support operational diligence for potential acquisitions
· Assess workflows, staffing models, systems, and revenue cycle processes of target entities
· Identify integration considerations, risks, and resource needs
· Contribute to integration planning, timelines, and Day 1 readiness
Post-Acquisition Integration Execution
· Lead execution of integration plans for newly acquired practices, clinics, and business units
· Develop and manage structured 30-60-90 day integration plans
· Coordinate across Operations, HR, Finance, IT, Clinical, and RCM to ensure alignment and execution
· Track integration milestones, timelines, and key performance indicators
· Support Day 1 readiness to minimize disruption to patient care, staff, and revenue
· Identify issues proactively and escalate risks with recommended solutions
· Support leadership in executing integration priorities aligned with company growth objectives
Integration Team Management
· Manage internal integration team
· Provide clear direction, prioritize workstreams, and ensure accountability for deliverables
· Support team development through coaching and performance management
· Coordinate internal and external resources across multiple integration efforts
Operational Standardization
· Evaluate acquired entity workflows and operational structures
· Support implementation of enterprise standard operating procedures (SOPs)
· Align front-end, clinical, and back-office workflows (scheduling, intake, billing, reporting)
· Drive adoption of core operational metrics/KPIs established by leadership
· Contribute to the development and refinement of integration playbooks
Cross-Functional Coordination & Workflow Improvement
· Map current-state workflows and support design of improved future-state processes
· Identify operational inefficiencies and support targeted improvement initiatives
· Facilitate coordination between centralized functions and site-level teams
· Promote clear communication across departments during integrations
Enterprise Systems Integration Support
· Partner with IT and operations to support integration of EHR/EMR, practice management, and billing systems
· Help ensure data integrity and continuity during system transitions
· Support training and adoption of enterprise systems
· Assist in evaluating and consolidating duplicative technologies
Requirements
Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, · Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, MHA, or related field) preferred
· 7-10+ years of experience in healthcare operations, multi-site environments, or related settings
· Experience supporting or leading components of post-acquisition integrations
· Experience managing small teams or leading cross-functional initiatives
· Strong operational process improvement and workflow design experience
· Familiarity with enterprise systems implementations or transitions
· Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and reporting on KPIs
· Strong communication, organization, and change management skills
