Job description

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong React, JavaScript, and MySQL skills to contribute to our SaaS web application, customer facing, and internal tools. You will work closely with product managers, designers and backend engineers to deliver robust solutions. This role requires significant experience in TypeScript, React, and proficiency in PHP+Laravel, Redis and MySQL.

The successful candidate will combine hands-on expertise, systems thinking and will have an appreciation for clean, testable code, and the versatility to contribute across the full stack., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and modern TypeScript, utilizing clean architecture and modular components.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Design, DevOps, and Quality Assurance to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Work closely with the team to implement and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Apply best practices for MySQL to ensure stability, performance, scalability, and security.
  • Ensure a consistent and intuitive user experience across the platform.
  • Ensure full test coverage to support quality of code.
  • Follow best practices for software development including: Test Driven Development, Agile processes and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and project planning.

Requirements

Applicants must be a resident of Portland, OR metropolitan area for a hybrid work environment (3 days per week in office)., Must Have:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in professional web development
  • Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, React, and MySQL.
  • Strong understanding of REST API integration, state management and async data handling.
  • Solid experience with Laravel/PHP, CSS, Eloquent ORM.
  • Proficiency with Git commands and version control.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library or Cypress.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience or familiarity with AWS cloud platform.
