Job description
All aspects of handling Client files sent to State National daily. The duties include, programming for inbound files from clients in a HP-UX Informix/Cobol environment, analyzing and diagnosing issues with files sent by clients daily. Handling data file conversions using third party ETL software. Coordinating projects., * Analyze and Diagnose issues with Loans Files sent from Clients Daily.
- Assist is submission of Account Loan Files to Operations Daily.
- Design and implement application system changes and enhancements to the Loan File Application (ETL).
- Perform multiple, concurrent projects; help set priorities; report status - currently production and test environments operate in a HP-UX Informix/Cobol and Linux environment.
- Communicate with clients on questions, clarification, issues, follow up and resolution of issues.
- Set up new clients in the test and live systems.
- Handle insurance conversion files for new accounts
- Complete application system changes for new and existing clients in third party data conversion software.
Requirements
- College degree preferred, high school diploma required.
- At least 4 years in QA and/or programming
- Programming languages - Cobol, Informix ISQL/4GL or ETL Tools a plus
- Operating systems and scripting - vi, HPUX/UNIX, Shell scripting, Linux, .NET
- Knowledge of SQL and database/file structures
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail oriented, Must be authorized to work in the U.S., and not require sponsorship now or in the future
