Job description

This is a senior, hands-on AI Engineer position focused on execution. The role requires full ownership of the development lifecycle, from development and testing through to production deployment. The primary emphasis is on building, validating, governing, and operating agentic AI systems in a production environment. This is a builder and operator role centered on ensuring AI agents run safely and reliably at scale., * Build, validate, govern, and operate operational AI agents in a production environment, ensuring data quality, monitoring, and risk management.

  • Develop and maintain an ecosystem to validate and observe agents before production deployment.
  • Ensure all AI agents are testable, governed, traceable, observable, and can be safely rolled back.
  • Take ownership of the complete workflow, including development, testing, and production deployment.
  • Contribute to a long-term roadmap focused on migrating data assets to a Google Cloud Platform environment and improving AI maturity.
  • Address foundational work such as pipeline debugging, system hardening, and reliability improvements.
  • Work within a large, globally distributed team of data engineers and developers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior-level, hands-on engineer with a track record of shipping LLM or AI agents to production.
  • Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), including core services like Dataflow, Composer, and GKE.
  • Solid experience with AWS pipeline ownership.
  • Strong background in ETL, data quality, observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering.
  • Experience operating in regulated, high-trust data environments, such as those involving credit or financial data.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Python.
  • Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
  • Experience with OpenAI models used within a Google Cloud Platform environment.
  • Knowledge of observability and evaluation tools like Langfuse.

Benefits & conditions

The anticipated pay range for this position is $75.00/hour to $81.56/hour. Please note that the exact compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and location. Eligible employees may be offered a benefits package.
