Job description

  • CM Lead on Patriot Product Team (PPT) configuration control board (CCB) by interfacing with cross-functional business teams to provide solutions to a variety of technical challenges.
  • Release, manage, and maintain configuration baselines across all action documents (IR, CN, and ECP) from CM control to ECP control
  • CM tools for configuration identification, configuration control, and product release and delivery.
  • Generate a weekly locator report on all USG required approvals that provides status on all engineering drawings that will impact the Multi-user ECP Automated Review System (MEARS).
  • Execute and continuously improve all process steps required to maintain product baselines.
  • Support and mentor Engineering Data Information Server (EDIS) coordinator & maintain Aviation and Missile Command for U.S Army (AMCOM) relationship.
  • Support US Government action items
  • Support MEARS/IFMC/SHIELD ECP's & maintain a good relationship with the USG which includes running a weekly Class 1 ECP meeting and be available accommodate the USG demands at any time
  • Maintain the Review Board Definition & Approval Requirements list.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in data management or configuration management OR in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with Windchill PDM or related tools, * Typically requires Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
  • Experience working in an Engineering team environment, interfacing with Hardware, Systems or Test Engineers
  • Understands principles, standards and processes, such as described in EIA-649, Configuration Management Standard
  • Self-Starter, willing to learn new tools and work with a variety of technical and non-technical disciplines
  • Ability to pro-actively interface with team
  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple ongoing projects and parallel release activities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
