Job description
The Systems and Project Integrator is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and supporting the integration of enterprise applications, client data workflows, and operational systems. This role ensures that NHSI systems (claims, benefits, HRIS, CRM, and others) are configured and integrated effectively, supporting seamless operations, compliance, and client satisfaction. The position requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills to serve as a liaison between internal teams, providers, and clients., The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Serve as the primary point of contact for provider and client data exchanges, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of inbound and outbound files.

Oversee the EDI team responsible for client and provider data and file transmissions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and industry standards.

Analyze client and provider concerns; research, troubleshoot, and resolve potential system, integration, or data workflow issues.

Implement, test, and validate system integrations, patches, and updates across platforms (claims, HRIS, CRM, benefits portals, etc.).

Document integration processes, workflows, and data mapping to ensure consistency and repeatability.

Collaborate with IT, operations, and business units to define requirements for new integrations or enhancements.

Support project management activities, including planning, timelines, deliverables, and resource coordination for integration-related projects.

Manage partner relationships and coordinate third-party system integrations as needed.

Monitor data exchange performance, identify issues, and recommend process or technical improvements.

Provide training and guidance to staff regarding system changes, integration impacts, and operational workflows.

Gain expertise in NHSI's core systems, including:WLT Claims System, HCI Active Member Benefits Portal, ADP HRIS, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365).

Stay current with emerging technologies and integration practices to recommend improvements.

Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements across all integrations.

Requirements

3+ years in business analysis/project delivery with a focus on integrations or data interfaces.

Strong requirements elicitation, backlog management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Experience coordinating with external partners/vendors and internal teams (EDI, Data Engineering, Infrastructure).

Working knowledge of healthcare payer/TPA data (e.g., 834/837/835, Rx claims), file transfers (SFTP), and flat-file concepts.

Proficiency with Jira and Confluence; comfortable leading UAT and documenting outcomes.

Ability to read/interpret SQL or data samples for validation and troubleshooting (no production coding required).

Knowledge of HIPAA/GDPR and handling of PHI/PII.

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong professional written/spoken English required.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience)., * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3-5+ years of experience in systems management, project management, or operations.

Strong understanding of data workflows, EDI processes, and file exchange protocols.

Experience with healthcare or benefits administration systems strongly preferred.

Proficiency with enterprise applications such as claims systems, HRIS, CRM, and member portals.

Familiarity with SQL, data mapping, and validation techniques.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
