Job description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy new features across our ERP, internal platforms, and customer-facing applications
  • Maintain and enhance existing code, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and refactoring legacy components
  • Build and maintain APIs and integrations between our internal systems and external client, carrier, and vendor platforms
  • Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
  • Write clean, well-documented, testable code that aligns with team standards
  • Troubleshoot production issues and partner with cross functional teams to resolve them quickly
  • Occasionally meet with clients - alongside account or project leads - to gather requirements, walk through technical solutions, or support implementations
  • Contribute to technical documentation for both internal teams and customer-facing audiences

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET - production .NET application experience is a must
  • Experience with ASP.NET for web application development
  • Working knowledge of relational databases - SQL Server, MySQL, and/or Oracle - and the ability to write and optimize SQL
  • Experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs
  • Solid grasp of front-end fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, the DOM API, and Web APIs
  • Familiarity with HTTP, HTTP/2, and modern browser APIs
  • Strong understanding of application-level design patterns and the ability to break complex problems into clear, manageable pieces
  • Experience working with application frameworks and libraries
  • Comfort working in a mature codebase - reading, improving, and extending existing code, not just greenfield work
  • Strict attention to detail and a habit of following through on commitments
  • Ability to juggle multiple priority projects without losing the thread
  • Strong written and verbal communication - able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical teammates and clients
  • Professional, client-ready presence; comfortable in occasional customer-facing conversations
  • Self-directed, while also collaborating well with teammates - including thoughtful use of newer tools like AI to work smarter

Preferred / Plus Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP customization, extension, or integration
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
  • Background in 3PL, logistics, supply chain, electronics, or wireless industries
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field - equivalent practical experience considered
  • 2+ years of professional experience in software development, programming, or a closely related field

About the company

About The Goldie Group The Goldie Group is a family-owned company that's been a leader in mobile device and wireless technology services for over 30 years. Headquartered in Nashville, our team members help major carriers, retailers, and enterprises manage the full life of their devices - refurbishing, repairing, remarketing, and recycling smartphones, tablets, wearables, and IoT hardware. We invest in our people the same way we invest in our technology, and we're growing fast. About the Role We're looking for a Software Developer to join the team that builds and maintains the proprietary systems powering our business - including our ERP, internal operations tools, and customer-facing platforms. You'll write production code, contribute to platform improvements, and partner directly with internal stakeholders and, occasionally, our clients to turn real business needs into working software. This is a mid-level role: we want someone who can own features end-to-end with light supervision.
