Production Support Engineer - Fully Remote

• Triages production incidents and work towards resolution
• Assist in Production deployments using manual or automated tools
• Identify the impacts for applications for Infrastructure changes, prepare & execute mitigation plans.
• Perform validation & verification of Java applications / services after any changes
• Take part in incident review discussion with Business stakeholders
• Take part in discussions with Development & Operations teams on system improvement and stability of the components
• Identify system performance bottlenecks and Recommend solutions
• Take part in discussion with Offshore teams for coordination
• Take part in Knowledge Sharing sessions from Development teams.

At least 6 years' experience in supporting Java applications / services hosted in Cloud environments. Proficient in Java / J2EE/Oracle technologies and related frameworks, Database - Oracle, MySQL

Desired Skills in:

Java 8+, Springboot, JPA , Microservices architecture, React JS, Kubernetes, Hibernate, Kafka for Integrations, Grafana, Github, JIRA

Preferred domain of experiene : Mechandising and/or Supply Chain, Associate or Bachelors degree in Science or Information Technology, * REST: 3 years (Preferred)

• Java: 5 years (Preferred)
• Oracle Database, SQL, PLSQL: 5 years (preferred)

Communication skills: Excellent Written and Verbal skills required

Work hours : Pacific 11 am to 7 pm, * Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Software development and Support: 6 years (Required)
• Technical Production Support: 4 years (Required)

• English very well (Required)
