Job description
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Sponsorship (including H-1B, OPT, CPT, etc.) is not available for this role now or in the future.
- Support and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems in manufacturing
- Assist with OEE system setup, machine data collection, and performance dashboards
- Help improve equipment efficiency, downtime tracking, and process reliability
- Work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support live operations
- Spend time both programming at your desk and supporting equipment on the production floor.
Requirements
Manufacturing Systems Engineer (OEE / Automation) to support manufacturing automation in a fast-paced medical device environment. This is a hands-on role for an early-career engineer with 1-2 years of experience who is eager to grow in PLCs, SCADA, and manufacturing systems., * 1-2 years of automation, controls, or manufacturing engineering experience
- Exposure to PLCs, SCADA, HMI, or machine controls
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills and willingness to learn
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
Preferred Background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Internship or early-career experience in manufacturing, automation, or controls
- Exposure to SQL, Java, C++, or ladder logic
- Primary proficient with SQL, Java C++
- Ladder logic/General understanding of plc's
- Solid coding exp/mfg internships are ideal
- Experience in medical device, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing is a plus
