Job description
In this role, you will support a cloud-based engineering validation organization by building, connecting, and maintaining tools, utilities, and Azure-hosted resources used to deliver solutions across multiple technical teams. You will help manage service health, KPI tracking, security-related work items, and operational reporting while ensuring Azure resources, service ownership, and work items are accurate, current, and aligned to established engineering processes., * Create, connect, and support Azure resources used to deliver engineering and validation solutions.
- Review, triage, update, and close KPI and service health work items.
- Manage Azure DevOps work items, including creating, querying, tracking, reporting, and escalating items as needed.
- Support security-related work items, integrations, and compliance activities tied to Azure-based services.
- Maintain accurate service ownership, hierarchy, metadata, and service tree hygiene.
- Monitor service health metrics and help drive assigned services toward green status.
- Reduce aged or overdue action items through consistent follow-up and coordination with stakeholders.
- Prepare weekly status rollups, KPI reports, and ad hoc leadership updates.
- Partner with engineering owners, KPI owners, and development teams to ensure timely resolution of work items.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements to improve operational efficiency.
- Support database or tooling updates as needed, including modifying existing systems or helping define technical requirements.
- Work independently while collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
This is a high-visibility role with regular reporting to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong Azure experience, completed Azure Security certification, hands-on Azure DevOps work item management experience, and the ability to work across engineering stakeholders to drive closure of action items, improve service health, and support cloud-based validation initiatives., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5-7 years of software engineering, cloud engineering, systems engineering, or related experience.
- Completed Azure Security Certification required at time of submission.
- 5+ years of experience creating, connecting, and supporting Azure resources to deliver engineering or business solutions.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps work item management, including creating, triaging, querying, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, service health, security processes, and operational workflows.
- Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, delivery, and support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time independently and drive assigned work items to closure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear status updates to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software systems, and development tools.
- Experience with SQL, scripting, or systems-related development tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Python development experience.
- Experience with KQL, Power BI, or cloud-based reporting dashboards.
- Experience supporting service health, compliance, KPI tracking, or operational reporting programs.
- Experience working in a verification, validation, infrastructure, semiconductor, cloud platform, or engineering operations environment.
- Familiarity with service tree management, ownership hygiene, metadata accuracy, and compliance tracking.
- Prior experience supporting senior leadership reporting or executive-level status updates.
- Ability to collaborate with senior engineers and multiple technical stakeholders in a structured, process-driven environment.
- Experience supporting long-running enterprise cloud engagements with established processes and measurable success metrics.

Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market. For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $48- $53 per hr. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
