Job description

The Integrations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting and delivering seamless integrations between our internal payroll platform and client systems, including HRIS, time & attendance, and other third-party applications. This role is highly hands-on and analytical, focused on understanding client workflows, translating requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring accurate and reliable data flow.

You will partner closely with internal teams and clients to analyze integration needs, test and implement solutions, and continuously improve existing integrations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early to mid-career who enjoys problem-solving, learning new systems, and working at the intersection of technology and client service., * Client & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with clients and internal teams to gather integration requirements and understand business processes, data flows, and system dependencies.

  • Integration Analysis & Design: Analyze existing systems and workflows to identify integration needs, enhancements, and optimization opportunities.
  • Implementation & Configuration: Design, develop, and implement data integrations between payroll systems and third-party applications such as HRIS, time & attendance, and ERP platforms.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute testing and validation to ensure accurate data flow; troubleshoot issues and resolve defects before and after go-live.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain clear integration documentation, including data mapping, process flows, and user guides for internal teams and clients.
  • Ongoing Support & Monitoring: Monitor existing integrations, proactively identify issues, and ensure integrations operate efficiently and accurately.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Support teams to communicate integration needs, system issues, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to improving integration standards, processes, and best practices to enhance scalability and client experience.
  • Learning & Innovation: Stay current on integration tools, technologies, and industry trends related to payroll and HR systems.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data integration, systems analysis, or a related technical or operational role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Familiarity with integration concepts such as ETL, data mapping, and APIs
  • Working knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON, or similar data formats
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with payroll, HR, or workforce management systems is a plus-but not required, * SQL: 2 years (Required)
