Network Systems Specialist

NETWORK SYSTEMS SPECIALIST -The Fairfield Area School District has an opening for a Network Systems Specialist who is responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the district's network and systems infrastructure. This position ensures the reliable performance, security, and availability of servers, network hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related technology infrastructure supporting district operations and instructional environments while supporting the mission, vision, and goals of the Fairfield Area School District. Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, Information Systems, or related field is required. A Master's degree in Technology Management, Information Systems, or related discipline is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, certification, and experience may be considered. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration, systems

administration, or infrastructure support, required. Experience working in a K-12 educational environment, managing Active Directory, network security, and backup systems, preferred. Salary regionally competitive and negotiable.
