- Provide system administration support for production, development, and lab environments
- Support OFP and TPS development efforts, including sustainment and testing activities
- Evaluate existing systems and contribute to the planning and execution of large-scale system initiatives
- Install, configure, and maintain network communications and computing environments
- Support network technologies, including LAN/WAN systems and associated services
- Utilize tools such as Puppet Enterprise and satellite systems to manage environments
- Support software application containerization and cloud technologies
Requirements
We are seeking a highly qualified IT Systems Administrator with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and DoD 8140-approved certifications to support a mission-critical Department of Defense program at Robins Air Force Base, GA. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced, technically complex environment.
This role supports product sustainment and development, lab support, and engineering services across multiple mission areas, including Operational Flight Program (OFP), Test Program Set (TPS) development, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) software, and Mission Support (MS) business lines. The selected candidate will participate in system evaluations, large-scale system planning, and the installation, configuration, and sustainment of network and computing environments, including LAN/WAN infrastructure., * Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (must be able to maintain)
- DoD 8140-approved certification, including one or more of the following:
- IAT Level II: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
- IAM Level I: CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP
- System administration experience meeting one of the following criteria:
- 2+ years with a Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years with an Associate's degree
- 6+ years with a High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting network environments (NE) or advanced computing environments (CE)
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Windows Server
- Linux (RedHat) and UNIX/Solaris environments
- Shell scripting
- VMware and virtualization technologies
- Storage and cloud technologies
- Cisco IOS
- DNS, LDAP, HPOV, and Active Directory
- WebLogic administration
- Software package installation, patching, and upgrades
- Application troubleshooting and testing
- Oracle DBA experience in UNIX operating systems
- High-availability environments
- Software development environments
