Job description

We are looking for a Computer and Information Systems Specialist to oversee and coordinate the IT operations and projects of our company. The IT manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of IT services and support to all departments and stakeholders. The IT manager will also manage the IT budget, staff, vendors, policies, and security systems.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong background in IT management, with proven experience in leading and supervising IT teams, projects, and initiatives. The candidate should also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as a high level of technical expertise in various IT domains such as network administration, software development, cloud computing, data analysis, cybersecurity, etc.

As an IT manager, you will:

  • Plan and implement the IT strategy and roadmap for the company

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department

  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of the IT staff

  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of IT projects

  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Monitor and maintain the availability, reliability, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any IT issues or incidents

  • Provide technical guidance and support to other departments and stakeholders

  • Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions that can improve the company's IT capabilities

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

  • A minimum of five years of experience in managing or leading an IT team or department

  • A solid understanding of various IT disciplines such as network administration, software development, cloud computing, data analysis, cybersecurity, etc.

  • A certification in one or more relevant areas such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CCNA, etc.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • A strong customer service orientation and a collaborative mindset
