Job description
Join our team as an Oracle EPM Architect, a pivotal role dedicated to overseeing the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This position is responsible for leading the technical management, enhancement, and evolution of the Oracle EPM Suite to empower strategic business planning and financial decision-making. Through collaboration with finance, IT, and business units, you will drive innovation, ensure system reliability, and support the organization's financial planning maturity., * Manage day-to-day administration of the Oracle EPM Suite (currently Planning - PBCS and Financial Consolidation and Close - FCCS)
- Own and maintain all FDMEE/Data Management integrations, including file-based data loads, location setup, and mapping rules
- Design and optimize the EPM Automate scripts for job scheduling, data loads, and LCM operations
- Manage the application lifecycle, including development, test, and production environment promotion
- Apply patches, monthly cloud releases, and coordinate with Oracle Support for troubleshooting
- Maintain Calc Manager business rules, Groovy scripts, Financial Reports, dashboards, and SmartView templates
Enhancement & Development
- Redesign and optimize the cube architecture, including financial, workforce, and CapEx cubes, and build ASO reporting cubes
- Lead implementation of new modules and capabilities: driver-based forecasting, Balance Sheet/Cash Flow planning, Narrative Reporting, Profitability and Cost Management, and Freeform applications
- Build Calc Manager business rules and Groovy scripts for allocation models and performance optimization
- Develop Financial Reports, dashboards, and SmartView templates to support FP&A and business unit users
Stakeholder Partnership & Governance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all Oracle EPM user needs, from break-fixes to strategic enhancement requests
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions to understand current state pain points and future state requirements
- Translate requirements from FP&A, Controllership, and business units into technical designs and system solutions
- Partner with FP&A leadership to prioritize the enhancement backlog and communicate roadmap progress
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing functional support across the organization
- Maintain documentation for system architecture and support SOX, audit, and internal control requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of Oracle Hyperion/EPM Cloud administration or consultation, with demonstrated ownership of a production environment
- Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or publicly traded company environment (SOX compliance) is preferred
- Oracle EPM Cloud certification is preferred, * Advanced knowledge of Oracle Planning (PBCS/EPBCS) cube architecture, metadata, and application design
- Hands-on experience with FDMEE/Data Management, EPM Automate, and REST APIs
- Proficiency in Calc Manager business rules, Groovy scripts, MDX, and Essbase calculation logic
- Experience building and maintaining Financial Reports, dashboards, and SmartView ad hoc templates
- Demonstrated ability to think in financial planning terms (P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidations)
Benefits & conditions
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,300.00 to $171,500.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
