Job description

  • Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
  • Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
  • Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
  • Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Proficiency in the use of general Windows-based PC applications.
  • Effective communication and teaming skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to perform duties in a military ordnance integration and test environment.
  • Willingness to perform demanding physical duties in remote and sometimes harsh field environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to use typical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and similar electronic tools; and various technical hand tools such as wire strippers, cable connector & repair tools, etc.
  • Ability to achieve commercial vehicle (CMV) operations certification, and to safely drive heavy-duty company pickup trucks and attach, tow, back, park, and operate trailers/generators.
  • Ability to understand and comply with physical and information security standards and procedures.
  • Ability to understand and comply with Environmental Health and Safety standards and procedures, including compliance with environmental control procedures for the handling and disposition of hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance, and must have an interim secret clearance prior to start, so therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.
