About the company

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! In this role you will conduct mission-level analysis for propellant, communication, power, thermal, and other consumables across our Lunar vehicles and architecture. This requires establishing margining policies for each consumable, defining the performance across both Blue and NASA vehicles to achieve favorable margins and evaluating designs against those performance limits. You will generate and run mission analysis models, provide guidance on optimizing vehicle design, mission Concept of Operations and control logic, quantitatively evaluate alternative trade studies and provide recommendations and work with a cross functional team to ensure mission success. You will support regular mission analysis cycles and reporting for Blue's Design Analysis Cycles (DACs) and NASA's Human Landing System (HLS) Analysis Cycles (HACs).
