Job description
- Design and develop advanced algorithms for data processing, modeling, and simulation.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into algorithmic solutions.
- Optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to prototype and implement advanced algorithms and physics-based models for high-fidelity simulations.
- Conduct testing, validation, and documentation of developed algorithms.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform development efforts.
Requirements
MTSI is seeking a highly skilled Senior Algorithm Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize advanced algorithms to address complex technical challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions within Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A), driving system performance and achieving mission-critical objectives., * US citizenship and a secret level security clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in algorithm development, optimization, and implementation.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
- Strong proficiency with Linux, including command line and shell scripting
- Strong mathematical foundation in areas such as linear algebra, statistics, and machine learning.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts, multi-task, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with modeling and simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills., * Top Secret clearance highly desired
- 8+ years of relevant algorithm development experience
- Experience with Missile Defense Systems or aerospace systems
- Expertise in designing and implementing Deep Neural Networks
- Knowledge of data science techniques and related software applications
