SQL DBA

Infosys is seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support enterprise-scale database environments. This role involves managing and optimizing SQL Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and supporting modernization initiatives including cloud and database migrations., * Install, configure, and administer SQL Server databases

• Manage Always On Availability Groups and Clustering
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Execute database upgrades, migrations (SQL Server PostgreSQL)
• Plan and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Monitor database health and ensure high availability
• Work with cross-functional onsite/offshore teams

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now or in the future, * Strong experience with SQL Server administration

• Hands-on experience with:

• Always On Availability Groups

• SQL Server Clustering

• Backup & Recovery

• Performance tuning

Experience in database upgrades and migrations

Knowledge of DR strategies and capacity planning

Nice to Have

• SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
• Azure Data Factory
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

• Shift 1: 3:00 AM 12:00 PM PST
• Shift 2: 11:00 AM 8:00 PM PST
• Shift 3: 7:00 PM 4:00 AM PST
• Includes weekends and holidays (rotational basis)
