TELECOMMUTE DevOps Engineer

• Design and develop internal CLI tools and automation providers primarily in Go
• Plan and execute the migration of CI CD pipelines from Jenkins to GitHub Actions
• Standardise and maintain reusable CI CD workflows as part of a golden path platform
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design and operate AWS infrastructure on EKS
• Implement GitOps practices using Argo CD for application delivery
• Embed observability and reliability practices using SLO driven monitoring and alerting
• Use data from engineering metrics platforms to identify and prioritise platform improvements
• Work closely with engineering teams to enable, educate, and support adoption of the platform
• Participate in an on call rotation aligned with the UK time zone when required
• Leverage AI assisted tools in daily engineering work to improve productivity and quality
• As part of this project, resource will be working with multiple Product teams in US; they should be able to communicate and coordinate with developers independently as needed.

• Build enterprise CI/CD for Cloud deployments - build validation, environment promotion, deployment gates
• GitHub & GitHub Actions - workflow authoring, reusable workflows, environments, secrets management
• Python Library/API development
• Azure/Entra ID - service principals, managed identities, RBAC
• IaC: Terraform for Azure resources, YAML configuration and parameterization
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Built CI/CD pipelines for Data Engineering and ETL processes
• Microsoft Fabric - workspaces, lakehouses, notebooks, data pipelines, warehouses
• Experience with Power BI semantic models and report deployment
• Azure DevOps pipelines (for context translation)
