Job description
- Manage Enterprise Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM) in strict accordance with DoDI 8551.01, ensuring all traffic follows least-privilege access models.
- Validate network traffic via SIEM log correlation to ensure Zero Trust enforcement points are actually working.
- Own the lifecycle management, tuning, and policy updates for critical IA tools (Firewalls, DLP, Malware Defenses, and Cloud-Based Internet Isolation / CBII).
- Radically reduce false-positive rates to protect my 24/7 watch floor analysts from alert fatigue.
- Conduct configuration audits, drive STIG compliance, and resolve architectural discrepancies without crippling the agency's mission.
Requirements
- An active Secret or TS/SCI DoD clearance.
- Deep engineering experience with enterprise boundary defenses, PPSM, and Zero Trust Architecture.
- DoD 8570 IASAE Level II or III compliance (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, CSSLP).
- The ability to translate complex architecture constraints into actionable engineering solutions for the enterprise.
