Web Developer

Kaimetrix is seeking a skilled Web Developer (Intermediate / Journeyman) to design, develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications and SharePoint solutions supporting the Program Executive Officer for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). The Web Developer will ensure PEO STRI's public websites, intranet platforms, and web applications remain modern, accessible, secure, and fully operational in support of mission requirements.

This role requires a balanced blend of front-end web development, SharePoint content management, UI/UX support, and enterprise web platform maintenance, with a focus on moderately complex applications developed under guidance. The Web Developer will collaborate closely with technical teams, NetOps, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support ongoing modernization initiatives, including the transition to SharePoint Online.

This position is ideal for a web professional who enjoys combining hands-on front-end development, content updates, and collaborative problem-solving within a DoD enterprise environment. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining and evolving mission-critical web and SharePoint platforms for PEO STRI while supporting usability, performance, and modernization objectives.

What you'll do

• Design and front-end development of PEO STRI Public Websites and SharePoint Intranet sites
• Development and support of PEO STRI PMC applications and mobile web solutions, including the PEO STRI Weapons Handbook Demo
• Perform daily content updates and maintenance for PEO STRI SharePoint Intranet and Public Websites
• Provide graphic design, UI/UX, and front-end development support for ServiceNow applications
• Optimize video and multimedia content for efficient streaming on public and intranet platforms
• Develop, code, test, debug, and enhance new and existing web-based software
• Collaborate with technical staff and NetOps to troubleshoot web software issues and implement solutions
• Support and assist with the organization's transition to SharePoint Online

• Intermediate / Journeyman level experience
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience or
• Associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with front-end web development and SharePoint environments
• Ability to work effectively on moderately complex programs with guidance
• Strong collaboration skills for working with technical teams and stakeholders
