Lead Systems Tecnhician

Service Radius: Within 75 miles of Bordentown, NJ (80% of projects within 20 miles of Radnor) We are seeking a dependable, experienced Lead Systems Technician to execute installation and service projects across light commercial and high-end residential environments. This role is ideal for a seasoned field technician who takes pride in clean installs, efficient troubleshooting, and delivering a strong client experience. This is a hands-on position focused on executing projects properly and independently. While you may work alongside other technicians when needed, this is not a management-track role - it is a senior-level field position for someone who enjoys being in the field and doing the work well. Our company specializes in security, networking, surveillance, AV, and smart automation systems, with a strong emphasis on security solutions., * Execute installations from rough-in through trim-out and final commissioning

• Install, terminate, and program:

• Security systems

• Electronic locks

• IP surveillance systems

• Structured wiring and network infrastructure

• AV and automation systems

• Troubleshoot and resolve service issues efficiently

• Read and interpret plans, wiring diagrams, and system documentation

• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

• Accurately document work performed and update service logs

• Maintain company vehicle inventory and ensure proper stock levels

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in low-voltage/security integration

• Strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, routers, switches)

• Ability to run projects independently without constant supervision

• Proficient in reading drawings and pulling/terminating wiring accordingly

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Clean background check required

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Equipment & Platform Experience (Strong Plus)

• DSC / Qolsys

• Alarm.com

• Axis & IP camera systems

• Lutron lighting control, * Climb ladders and work in attics, crawl spaces, and above ceilings

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Use power tools and installation equipment

• Drive between job sites

Compensation & Benefits

• $32 - $45 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and technical proficiency
