L3Harris Space Superiority group has an opening for a Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Colorado Springs, CO. The individual will work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and a collaborative team setting.
This position will support the test effort for development of multiple ground-based mission systems and operations center from program inception to test verification and deployment. The Lead Integration & Test Engineer will define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities while working with a team comprised of multiple internal organizations and subcontractors for the full integration and test of the mission system. The test engineer will be a point-of-contact for the government customer for test planning and will coordinate across government and stakeholder offices to define the test and evaluation plan.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on system requirements.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through to resolution.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software performance meets the high standards required for L3Harris operations.
- Collaborate with system engineers and software developers to identify system requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Analyze test results, detect issues, and track root causes in collaboration with the development team.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret security clearance to start with ability obtain a Top Secret Clearance
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Excellent organization skills.
- Effective communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in Linux and/or Unix operating systems
- Familiarity with Boundary Scan/LabVIEW/MATLAB/other tools for instrument control.
- Proficient at JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent)
- Experience in Agile & DevOps methodology and culture
- Experience with Radar systems
- Test Automation
Benefits & conditions
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $88,500 - $164,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $76,500 - $142,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
