Job description
- Plan and design the installation, configuration, and de-installation of IT hardware equipment.
- Coordinate with the customer to schedule activities while not impairing or interrupting ongoing missions at USAICoE.
- Manage hardware life-cycle replacement and product warranties with various vendors: Equipment includes computers, laptops, thin or zero client endpoints, monitors, speakers, keyboards, mice, Keyboard/Video/Mouse (KVM) switching equipment, and other desktop endpoint computing and display equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic network and hardware problems that arise during IT Enterprise operations.
Requirements
- Current TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
- At least 4 years of practical experience
- Knowledge of computer hardware and their interconnectivity, * CompTIA Security + certification (not required, but preferred/incentivized)
- AA/BS degree in an IT related field
- Proven leadership skills
