Job description
The primary focus is the reliable management of the current SAP landscape to ensure business continuity.
- Incident & Defect Management: Systematic resolution of software bugs and functional discrepancies to meet Service Level Agreements.
- System Maintenance: Application of Support Package Stacks (SPS) to keep the environment current with security patches and standard corrections.
- Version Upgrades: Technical execution of system upgrades using tools like the Software Update Manager (SUM) to transition to newer release levels while maintaining upgrade equivalence.
Evolution & Integration The project will transition into a development-centric model to address unique business requirements and cross-platform connectivity.
- Custom ABAP Development: Designing and implementing new functionalities, including custom reports, Dictionary Objects, and user exits to extend standard SAP capabilities.
- System Integrations: Building secure data exchanges between SAP and internal/external systems. This may leverage the SAP Integration Suite for real-time or near-real-time connectivity across cloud and on-premises landscapes.
- Clean Core Strategy: Future development will prioritize decoupled extensions and public APIs to ensure long-term system stability and easier future upgrades.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in SAP development, S/4HANA concepts
- 5+ years' experience in PI/PO, AO, CDS Views and SAP Workflow development
- Proactive with excellent coordination/communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment

Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in SAP modules like FI, PM, HR, Supply chain
- Experience in SAP Cloud Systems
- Experience in ABAP Web Dynpro and Adobe Interactive forms
- Knowledge of integration concepts such as web services, ALE, and Process Integration
- Experience in Object Oriented programming
- Ability to troubleshoot and determine the root cause of various SAP related issues and experience with Performance optimization tools
- Ability to translate functional specifications into technical design documents, provide estimates and deliver the desired functionality, * 5+ years of direct hands-on experience in seat working projects directly handling SAP development
Education:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalency

Location = 100% remote - preferably resides in the Richmond, VA, Northern VA or Columbia, SC area, * SAP development, S/4HANA concepts: 5 years (Required)
- PI/PO, AO, CDS Views and SAP Workflow development: 5 years (Required)
Benefits & conditions
Rate = $75-$87/hr a W2 contract
Length = 1+ Years W2 Contract - Possible long term/extension for the right candidate
