Platforms Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Platforms Engineer to support and enhance critical infrastructure in Syracuse, New York. This position focuses on maintaining stable, secure Linux-based environments while also supporting key platforms used by development teams. The role suits someone who can balance day-to-day operational excellence with long-term improvements in system performance, access control, and compliance readiness.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Enterprise Linux administration in production environments.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and identity or access management practices.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server and related enterprise services.
• Familiarity with patch management processes, security controls, and operational best practices.
• Understanding of IT security principles and compliance-oriented infrastructure management.
• Ability to support cross-functional platforms and communicate effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders.
