Behind the scenes, our platform generates high volumes of data across multiple systems-and that's where this role comes in. As an ETL Engineer / BI Developer, you'll play a key role in transforming that data into actionable insights that power our operations, enhance our product, and support our continued growth., We're looking for a hands-on ETL Engineer who also brings strong BI development expertise, particularly in Tableau. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both building robust data pipelines and translating that data into meaningful, business-facing insights.
In this role, you won't just move data from point A to point B. You will help shape how we think about and leverage data as a company. Data sits at the center of how we operate and grow, and this role is critical in building a reliable, scalable foundation that teams can trust and use every day. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines across 6+ databases
- Extract, clean, and transform data into usable, business-ready formats
- Design systems that monitor data health and proactively alert when something breaks
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders
- Partner closely with business leaders to understand their data needs and enhance reporting capabilities
- Help stakeholders define what data matters most and how to present it effectively
- Contribute to defining how we structure and use data to drive better decisions across the business
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines and working with complex datasets
- Strong experience with MySQL and SQL-based data environments
- Experience working in Linux-based environments
- Proficiency in Tableau, including building dashboards and data visualizations
- Experience with KNIME for data workflows and automation
- Ability to bridge data engineering and business intelligence, turning raw data into insights
- A strong focus on data accuracy, reliability, and quality
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with or integrating Five9 data
- Experience working with multiple data sources in a fast-moving environment
- A mindset of "there's a better way to do this" and the ability to build it
