Software Engineer 3 (.NET / Blazor)

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Blazor) for the Texas Department of Agriculture. This role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-level web-based applications in a fast-paced Agile environment., * Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using C#, .NET Core, and Blazor

• Develop front-end and back-end components using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures (SQL Server/Oracle)
• Perform root cause analysis, debugging, and production support
• Lead and participate in SDLC activities including design, development, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements
• Support application releases, enhancements, and maintenance activities
• Ensure application security and compliance with standards
• Use Azure DevOps/Jira for tracking and Agile delivery

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in C#, .NET Core, Blazor, SQL/Oracle, and full SDLC lifecycle, along with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams., * 8+ years of experience in software development

• Strong experience in C#, .NET Core / .NET
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Blazor
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle (Stored Procedures)
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with full SDLC lifecycle
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills, * Experience working with state or government applications
• Experience with licensing or regulatory systems
• Knowledge of WCAG / accessibility standards
