Job description
As a Model-Based Software Engineer, you will join our team to support our activities within the Aerospace & Defence sector., * Develop and maintain model-based software designs (MBSD)
- Build and simulate system models using MATLAB/Simulink
- Support the development of control and system behaviour models
- Contribute to requirements analysis and standards compliance
- Collaborate with systems and software teams across the development lifecycle
- Support integration, testing, and validation activities

Requirements
- Strong experience in Model-Based Software Design (MBSD)
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink (industry experience preferred)
- Experience working within complex or safety-critical systems
- Understanding of requirements capture and standards review
- Ability to work within structured development environments, * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- Experience in model-based development or simulation roles
- Exposure to regulated engineering environments (aerospace, defence, etc.)
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within aerospace, defence, or naval sectors
- Understanding of gas turbine systems or propulsion modelling
- Exposure to DevOps or continuous integration environments
- Familiarity with system integration and verification processes
