Job description

Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking a Full Stack Developer - Agentic AI/Legal ELM, We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with experience building intelligent, enterprise-grade applications leveraging IBM Watsonx Orchestrate or a comparable Agentic AI platform (such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Salesforce Agentforce, ServiceNow AI Agents, or similar). This role will focus on designing, developing, and enhancing solutions that integrate Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) platforms with internal and external systems through modern APIs, workflow automation, and AI-driven orchestration. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development skills, hands-on experience with API development/integration, and the ability to build full-stack applications that improve legal operations, matter management, e-billing, document workflows, and process automation., * Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications supporting legal operations and ELM platform integrations

  • Build and enhance API-driven integrations between legal ELM solutions and enterprise platforms such as document management, identity/access systems, and workflow tools
  • Develop Python-based services, microservices, automation scripts, and backend components to support orchestration, business rules, and data exchange
  • Leverage IBM watsonx Orchestrate or another Agentic AI/orchestration platform to automate legal workflows, coordinate tasks across systems, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Create scalable RESTful APIs, event-driven services, and integration layers to support ELM enhancements and connected legal solutions
  • Partner with legal operations, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop UI components and workflows that improve the user experience for legal teams, administrators, and cross-functional business users

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development, integration services, automation, and API creation
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs, web services, and system integrations
  • Experience with full-stack development, including modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django
  • Experience integrating with enterprise platforms and third-party applications using APIs, webhooks, messaging, or ETL/data services
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI, intelligent workflow automation, or AI orchestration tools such as IBM watsonx Orchestrate or similar platforms. IBM's tooling supports agent development with Python, OpenAPI, and enterprise system connectivity
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud services, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of authentication and security standards such as OAuth2, SSO, RBAC, and secure API practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Enterprise Legal Management (ELM) platforms such as Onit, CounselLink, Mitratech, LawVu, Litify, Elevate ELM, or similar. These platforms commonly support legal intake, matter management, spend/e-billing, vendor collaboration, analytics, and workflow automation
  • Experience supporting legal operations, legal workflow automation, e-billing, matter management, outside counsel management, contract lifecycle processes, or compliance-focused solutions
  • Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger, integration middleware, event streaming, or workflow orchestration technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or IBM Cloud
  • Exposure to AI/ML integration patterns, LLM-based agents, prompt orchestration, or human-in-the-loop workflow design

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
