SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead / Systems Analyst in Dallas

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead / Systems Analyst to support a RISE with SAP implementation and transition to steady-state operations. This role will play a critical part in the migration, stabilization, and ongoing support of an SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private Edition) environment, serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders, SAP, and system integration partners.

The ideal candidate combines deep SAP S/4HANA Finance functional expertise with strong SAP systems knowledge, supporting both project execution and post-go-live operations. This individual will provide functional ownership of core Finance processes while also supporting SAP landscape operations during and after the RISE migration., SAP RISE Migration & Transformation

• Support SAP RISE migration activities including environment provisioning, system conversion, testing coordination, cutover, and hypercare.
• Participate in knowledge transfer from system integration partners and review configuration and design documentation.
• Coordinate migration-related activities across SAP landscapes (Sandbox, Development, QA, Production).
• Support integration readiness, data validation, and post-migration stabilization.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, and issue resolution during migration and go-live phases.
• Align with RISE with SAP methodology, Clean Core principles, and best practices.

Finance Functional Ownership

Provide functional support for key SAP Finance modules including:

• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Asset Accounting
• Bank Accounting
• Controlling (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers)

Responsibilities include:

• Provide L2/L3 production support for financial processes
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Troubleshoot financial posting issues and integration errors
• Manage defect backlog and prioritization
• Analyze upstream integration issues impacting Finance

S/4HANA Finance Expertise

• Support Universal Journal (ACDOCA) functionality
• Understand document splitting and parallel ledgers
• Support margin analysis and profitability reporting
• Provide support for SAP Fiori applications
• Assist with embedded analytics and financial reporting

SAP Application & Service Operations

• Support the ongoing operation, performance, and maintenance of SAP S/4HANA systems in the RISE environment.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and problem resolution aligned with IT service management processes.
• Support change management, transport coordination, and release management.
• Maintain SAP operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base materials.
• Collaborate with SAP and managed service providers to resolve system issues and maintain service quality.

Integration Management

Work cross-functionally with:

• Procure-to-Pay (MM)
• Order-to-Cash (SD)
• Supply Chain
• Banking and financial integrations

Responsibilities include:

• Analyze integration issues affecting Finance processes
• Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with technical teams
• Support interface validation and system connectivity.

Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Recommend process improvements across Finance and SAP operations.
• Ensure systems align with internal security, compliance, and audit requirements (including SOX).
• Support access management, role design validation, and segregation of duties.
• Promote SAP Clean Core principles and cloud operational best practices.
• Participate in governance forums, project reviews, and operational meetings., * Hybrid role based in Dallas, TX, with onsite collaboration Tuesday through Thursday.
• Work closely with cross-functional IT, Finance, and business teams.
• Participate in key project milestones, testing cycles, and go-live activities.

• 7+ years of SAP experience including ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• 2+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience.
• Experience supporting or participating in SAP RISE with SAP or S/4HANA cloud migrations.
• At least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation or system conversion.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Universal Journal
• Parallel accounting
• Asset Accounting (new AA)
• Intercompany processing

• Experience supporting month-end financial close processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP application operations and service delivery models.
• Experience working with system integrators and SAP support organizations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders., * Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private Edition).
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics.
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, or similar lifecycle tools.
• Exposure to SAP integrations across Finance, banking, or BI systems.
• Understanding of ITIL-based service management practices.
• Experience working in hybrid onshore/offshore support environments.
• SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance or RISE with SAP.
