Job description

You will join a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and evolving robust, scalable, and high-quality iOS applications used in demanding production environments. In this role, you will take technical ownership of iOS architecture, ensuring best practices across design, performance, security, and maintainability. You will define the structure and standards of mobile development while guiding implementation across the team. Working in a fully remote setup, you will collaborate closely with Android, backend, and product teams to ensure consistent and well-integrated feature delivery. The role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and architectural decision-making. You will also play a key role in improving development workflows, CI/CD processes, and overall engineering quality. Accountabilities:

  • Define and evolve iOS application architecture, including modularization, navigation, state management, and dependency injection
  • Establish coding standards, development workflows, and best practices for code quality and testing
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, testing, signing, and App Store distribution processes
  • Ensure application performance, security, accessibility, and privacy requirements are met
  • Select and validate appropriate technologies, frameworks, and libraries (Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, etc.)
  • Lead technical decision-making and contribute to architectural documentation, including design diagrams and ADRs
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to iOS development team members
  • Collaborate with Android and backend teams to align APIs, features, and analytics integration
  • Support debugging and resolution of complex technical issues across production environments
  • Contribute to release management and continuous improvement of development processes

Requirements

  • Strong experience in native iOS development using Swift and Xcode
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
  • Experience with modular development and scalable app design
  • Strong knowledge of REST/JSON API integration and secure data storage (e.g., Keychain)
  • Experience with unit and UI testing practices and debugging techniques
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Fastlane)
  • Ability to define and enforce engineering standards and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex technical challenges
  • Experience working in Agile and cross-functional team environments
  • Nice to have: experience with SwiftUI, SPM, App Store release processes, accessibility, and observability tools

Benefits & conditions

  • Fully remote working model across Spain
  • Opportunity to lead technical architecture for large-scale mobile applications
  • Collaborative and highly skilled engineering environment
  • Strong focus on technical excellence, best practices, and continuous learning
  • Exposure to modern mobile development tools and CI/CD automation
  • Career growth opportunities within a structured engineering organization
  • Involvement in impactful projects across key industries such as banking, telecom, and insurance
  • Supportive culture based on collaboration, proximity, and professional development
