Job description

We are looking for motivated and talented leaders to join our technical capabilities, support innovative projects, and contribute to a unique organizational structure.

In this role, you will play a key part in every phase of our projects and will be responsible for:

  • Design and develop scalable batch and real-time data pipelines on GCP.
  • Build and optimize data warehouses using BigQuery.
  • Implement ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as Cloud Workflows and Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Design dimensional data models and curated data marts.
  • Deploy and manage ML models using Vertex AI and build real-time AI inference APIs.
  • Develop and deploy microservices using Python/Node.js on Cloud Run or Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Implement CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and security best practices.
  • Ensure data governance, access control, and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and cloud-based environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native architecture design.
  • Excellent understanding and mastery of IT architectures with the ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and expert-level expertise in SQL.
  • Strong experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and enterprise data warehousing.
  • Expertise in data science methodologies, including data cleaning, data exploration, and data visualization principles.
  • Experience deploying AI/ML models and building RESTful APIs for production environments.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with proven experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
