Job description
Reporting into the Channel Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of ecommerce and marketplace accounts, including major platforms such as Amazon, eBay and specialist online retailers.
You will act as the main point of contact for your clients, combining data analysis, relationship management and commercial thinking to grow sales, optimise product ranges and support product launches.
What You Will Be Doing
- Managing and developing relationships with ecommerce and marketplace customers
- Analysing sales performance, stock availability and product turnover
- Proposing new products, launches, promotions and upsell opportunities
- Supporting range reviews, including recommendations for delists
- Writing and maintaining accurate product listings and descriptions
- Handling customer queries including QA, compliance documents and test certificates
- Supporting promotional activity such as seasonal campaigns
- Conducting regular customer calls and reviews (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual)
- Working closely with internal teams across marketing, supply chain, finance and operations
Requirements
- Experience in ecommerce, sales or account management
- Understanding of online marketplaces (Amazon experience highly desirable)
- Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with customers and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Desirable:
- Experience selling into retail or online customers
- Exposure to ecommerce promotions, trading calendars or product launches
- Understanding of stock availability and supply challenges
Additional information: 25 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, Office-based role ideally but open to hybrid working
This role would suit someone who enjoys owning ecommerce accounts, working closely with customers, and using data to shape commercial decisions, rather than purely managing websites or digital marketing.
