Join a small, collaborative development team building and supporting enterprise web-based services deployed in AWS. This entry-level role emphasizes mentorship, structured learning, and developing strong engineering fundamentals while contributing to real-world systems.

What You'll Do Develop and implement well-defined features and bug fixes using structured tickets, acceptance criteria, and code review feedback. Learn and contribute to the team's enterprise web services platform, including its codebase, workflows, and deployment processes. Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting web applications hosted in AWS environments. Monitor application health, review logs, and escalate issues appropriately. Participate in a collaborative development environment with mentorship and guided support.
Requirements
Experience (academic, professional, or personal projects) with at least one of the following: PHP, .NET C#, Java, Node.js, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, or React. Strong interest in learning software engineering best practices through mentorship and code reviews. Ability to follow documentation, complete assigned tasks, and accept feedback constructively. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate progress and ask questions effectively. Exposure to relational databases such as MariaDB, MySQL, MS SQL, or Oracle, along with basic SQL knowledge. Familiarity with web/app servers such as Nginx, Apache, or Tomcat. Interest or experience in troubleshooting and debugging (log analysis, issue reproduction). Exposure to AWS or Azure cloud concepts (compute, storage, networking). Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell. Understanding of Agile development practices (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field OR four (4) years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree. DoD 8570 IAM-I certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+)
