Job description

"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator to support and maintain a mid-sized enterprise environment. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong knowledge of Windows Server infrastructure who can also document processes, support system improvements, and guide team members. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently from day one, and comfortable in a collaborative team setting., * Administer and support Windows Server (2016 and above) environments

  • Manage and optimize Active Directory, including replication, user access, and security policies
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Analyze and maintain DNS infrastructure, including replication and performance
  • Review current system configurations and ensure proper policy/application alignment
  • Create, refine, and maintain detailed technical documentation following established templates
  • Document system architecture, workflows, and operational processes for team continuity
  • Support Hyper-V virtual environments and infrastructure operations
  • Ensure proper configuration and monitoring of backup systems
  • Assist with system upgrades and modernization initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Windows Server (2016 or newer)
  • Hands-on expertise in Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
  • Experience with Hyper-V virtualization
  • Solid understanding of system backups and recovery processes
  • Proven ability to create clear, structured technical documentation
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and support team members, * Experience working in county/government or regulated environments
  • Prior experience with infrastructure upgrades or migrations
  • Local to the Belvidere, NJ area (within ~40 miles preferred)
