Job description

As an IT Enterprise Architect, you will be the technical lead of our digital transformation. You will define high-level strategy for our Azure ecosystem while remaining deeply involved in the technical changes. You will review and refine our Secure SDLC process, manage Azure CI/CD automation, and govern the integration of Dynamics 365 and PowerApps. A critical part of this role is maintaining technical excellence through rigorous architectural code reviews and the mentorship of senior developers to foster a culture of engineering best practices., * Architectural Strategy & Governance: Define blueprints for custom .NET applications and their integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and PowerApps. Develop and maintain a comprehensive digital transformation strategy that aligns with the organization's broader business goals. Establish governance models and frameworks to ensure consistent management and oversight of digital transformation projects, ensuring compliance with architectural standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation of digital transformation strategies, architectures, roadmaps, and implementation plans.

  • Rigorous Code Review: Lead the architectural code review process for all major .NET and Azure releases. Ensure adherence to clean code principles, UI/UX standards, and efficient resource utilization.
  • Azure CI/CD & DevOps: Design and maintain automated Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure environment consistency.
  • Secure SDLC (S-SDLC) Integration: Mandate security checks within the pipeline, including SAST/DAST and vulnerability scanning. Perform security-focused code reviews to mitigate OWASP risks early in the SDLC.
  • UI/UX Standardization: Establish and enforce a unified UI Design System that spans across custom Blazor/React apps and Power Platform solutions.
  • Hands-on Prototyping: Build Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in C#/.NET 8+ to demonstrate new patterns or complex integrations. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization, proposing and implementing pilots and proof-of-concepts as necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years in IT; 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture with deep Full-stack .NET roots.

  • Technical Mastery:

o Expertise in C#, .NET Core/8+, Azure Cloud (AKS, App Services, Functions), SQL and database management, and data visualization.

o Proven experience in peer and architectural code reviews.

o Proficiency in Azure DevOps CI/CD, Dynamics 365, and PowerApps.

o Advanced knowledge of Secure SDLC and identity governance.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor and upskill senior-level engineering talent.

  • Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Power Platform Solution Architect.

The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the hourly range is $70.00 - $80.00.
