Job description
Overview: We are seeking tech-savvy and team-oriented individuals to support a relocation/move to a new building. Technicians will prepare the existing computer and AV hardware for the move and deploy all equipment at the relocation site. Duties and responsibilities: Inventory, break down, and prepare computer, AV, and VoIP phone equipment for the move. Set up and test computer workstations for offices, classrooms, and labs. Maintain neat and organized cabling for all workstations and AV equipment. Verify device enrollment and ensure all standard software applications are functional. Track, document, and report daily progress using a spreadsheet or other means. Manage e-waste following PPS protocols. Address staff questions on site or escalate to the Team Lead. Various other technology-related tasks as directed.
Requirements
Knowledge and experience with various computer and AV hardware, including but not limited to PC/Apple/Chrome desktop and laptop computers, document cameras, mobile laptop charging cart, and projectors. Ability to perform clean cable management in office and classroom environments. Excellent communication and organization skills, and the ability to follow instructions. Work as a member of a team to accomplish a goal and meet specified timelines. Ability to lift and move various technology hardware (not to exceed 30 lbs).
