Job description

As a Senior Delivery Manager in the Privacy Solutions function , you will play a critical role in driving the successful implementation of privacy solutions (Expert Determination, Process Reports, State Opinion Letters etc) for Datavant's clients assigned to your portfolio. You will partner with internal and external senior stakeholders, and ensure that our privacy solutions drive real, measurable impact for customers. This is not just a project management role - it's an opportunity to shape how privacy is delivered at scale across the healthcare industry.

What You Will Own & Deliver:

Client Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted delivery partner for key clients, helping them navigate complex privacy challenges, align with their business objectives and risk strategies, and achieve data-sharing goals in a HIPAA compliant manner.

  • Build and strengthen strategic client relationships, ensuring long-term customer success and retention.

  • Shape privacy best practices within Datavant and with clients.

Project & Program Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of privacy projects for high-value accounts, ensuring they are executed with precision, efficiency, and impact.

  • Drive execution across multiple complex projects, managing and allocating resources, priorities, and risks proactively.

  • Ensure that our central PM tool is the source of truth

  • Align internal teams-including Sales, Strategic Engagement, Technical Solutions and Data Science -to deliver seamless, high-value solutions.

  • Ensure that projects not only meet scope, timeline, and budget, but also deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement scalable delivery frameworks that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of privacy solution deployments.

  • Establish and refine metrics for success, ensuring transparency in project impact and client satisfaction.

  • Drive continuous improvement by incorporating feedback loops and leveraging data-driven insights.

  • Develop best practices to improve project execution across the organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading the scoping and delivery of consultative engagements, including comprehensive project and engagement management with external stakeholders and a demonstrated competence in scope and expectation management.

  • Proven ability to drive project-based work, managing tasks, schedules, deliverables, budgets, and project risks , in an agile and fast-paced environment.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and technical subject matter experts in a manner that fosters a productive environment for the project team.

  • Demonstrated flexibility and effectiveness in both leadership and team member roles in dynamic environments.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Project Management certification, eg. Scrum, PMP, etc.

  • Relevant Healthcare industry experience (eg. Real World Data)

  • A passion for leveraging data to drive better healthcare outcomes

  • Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, and other privacy regulations.

  • Experience working with globally-distributed remote teams.
