Job description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support laptop refresh initiatives and end-user technology needs across multiple client locations. This role is primarily field-based and involves traveling to client sites to deploy and configure devices, provide technical support, and ensure employees are fully operational with their IT equipment., * Perform laptop refresh deployments, including device replacement, setup, and configuration

  • Install and configure laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
  • Migrate user data and ensure proper access to applications, network drives, and email
  • Join devices to corporate domains and configure security policies
  • Provide on-site desktop support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot Windows operating system, printers, and basic network connectivity issues
  • Assist users with workstation setup and ensure proper ergonomics and functionality
  • Install and configure standard corporate applications
  • Coordinate device swaps and ensure minimal disruption to end users during refresh cycles
  • Maintain accurate records of device deployments and asset tracking
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate internal IT teams when necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service while supporting users in a professional office environment

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, The ideal candidate is hands-on, customer-focused, and comfortable working directly with users in a professional environment., * 1-3 years of experience in desktop support, field support, or IT support roles

  • Experience performing hardware deployments or laptop refresh projects
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience setting up laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals
  • Basic understanding of network connectivity and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client locations within the region
