Associate Engineer - Platform Testing and Support

Our Associate Engineers work on the ClearPath OS 2200 Products within a high-performing development team. They will work closely with an assigned Senior Engineer and mentor within a team of engineers. Unisys is seeking an Associate Engineer to conduct ClearPath Platform testing and support. This Engineer will be responsible for testing ClearPath OS 2200 systems, finding and reporting defects, and working with developers to resolve issues. In addition, they will be responsible for maintaining testing environments including the support of hardware and firmware within our large Testing Data Center. This also includes the installation and configuration of system software as part of a support role., * Planning, configuration, and testing of integrated platforms within our Testing Data Center

• Work closely with software developers providing problem analysis, troubleshooting and error resolution for reported issues
• Perform system software installation, configuration, administration of the Data Center platforms
• Ability to Work with minimal supervision with some latitude for independent judgement
• May perform some programming and script writing to automate testing
• Perform hardware installation and configuration

This position requires an Engineer that is inquisitive, possesses a can-do attitude, and demonstrates the desire necessary to ensure the delivery of high-quality world-class platforms to our demanding customer base., * Currently enrolled or recently graduated with a degree in a Bachelor or Masters of Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
