We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Network Engineer to join our innovative IT team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced environment, making a tangible impact on our digital ecosystem., * Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-wide network architecture including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching), and SD-WAN solutions to ensure robust connectivity.
- Configure and manage network security devices such as Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), and IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) to safeguard organizational data.
- Implement and support network protocols including TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IPsec, DNS, DHCP, and MPLS to facilitate reliable data transmission.
- Manage data center infrastructure involving SAN (Storage Area Network), VMware vSphere virtualization platforms, high availability configurations, and cloud security measures on AWS and Azure.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using tools like SolarWinds and Splunk; perform regular network monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve issues swiftly.
- Automate network management tasks utilizing scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and tools like Ansible for efficient system administration.
- Support remote access solutions including SSH, SFTP, VPNs, and remote desktop software to enable secure connectivity for distributed teams.
- Collaborate within Agile teams on the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) for deploying new network features or upgrades while maintaining compliance with ITIL standards.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Network management?, * Proven experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of LAN/WAN architecture, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and network security best practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of Cisco routers/switches, Meraki devices, Juniper equipment, and open-source operating systems such as Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, openSUSE, BSD variants like Solaris or FreeBSD.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and Citrix; experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation; experience with Ansible or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, SSL/TLS encryption standards; experience with load balancing solutions and high availability configurations.
- Knowledge of network management tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG; ability to perform vulnerability assessments using Splunk or similar SIEM tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex network issues quickly; effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
