Job description

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Patient Service Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, insurance verifications, and medical records while ensuring a smooth and efficient front office operation. Your proactive communication and organizational skills will help foster a positive patient experience and support our clinic's daily functions.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service with strong phone etiquette and multi-line phone system management
  • Schedule appointments using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system (Platinum), ensuring accurate documentation review and data entry
  • Verify insurance and perform verification to facilitate seamless billing processes
  • Collect co-payments and assist with explaining coverage to patient when needed
  • Maintain accurate medical records by filing documents correctly in EHR system.
  • Assist with intake procedures, including patient registration, documentation review, and updating health information management records
  • Support clinic operations by managing appointment reminders, patient inquiries, and coordinating care plans as needed
  • Shared office cleaning duties

Requirements

Do you have experience in Office experience?, * Availability Monday - Thursday (9am-7pm) Off Fri-Sun!

  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and filing tasks
  • Proven experience with front desk or administrative support responsibilities
  • Bilingual (Spanish) abilities are highly valued, but not required
  • Prior clinic or chiropractic office experience is a plus, but not a requirement for candidates that are otherwise a great fit.
