The role requires strong software engineering expertise in C++ and/or Java, deep understanding of SQL databases (Oracle preferred), and hands-on experience with communication protocols such as gRPC and RESTful APIs., * Architect, design, and develop scalable, performant and fault-tolerant FINTECH applications using C++ and/or Java

  • Implement high-quality code adhering to secure coding standards, low-latency design patterns and best engineering practices
  • Develop services and components that integrate via gRPC, REST API's and internal messaging frameworks
  • Optimize application performance, memory usage and latency for real-time transaction processing systems

Database Engineering & Data Layer Integration

  • Design and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, and SQL queries for Oracle or other enterprise-grade RDBMS systems
  • Ensure efficient data access patterns, indexing strategy and query optimization
  • Work with large and high-throughput datasets relevant to financial transaction flows

Systems Engineering & Platform Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications running on RHEL-based systems
  • Monitor system health, tune OS/network parameters for high-availability environments, and troubleshoot production incidents
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools

Networking & Communication Protocols

  • Work with transport and application-layer networking concepts (TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, load balancing, service discovery)
  • Develop and maintain microservices and distributed components using gRPC and RESTful API's
  • Ensure secure, compliant and efficient communication flows in financial transaction ecosystems

Automation, Scripting & Tooling

  • Build automation scripts, deployment tools, log parsers, and monitoring utilities using Bash and optionally Python
  • Create CI/CD improvements, automate service rollout procedures, and support environment consistency

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with Product Owners, QA teams, DevOps, Security, and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality releases

  • Produce clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks

  • Participate in technical reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, risks, and design considerations

  • Conduct performance tests to ensure applications handle high efficiency flawlessly

  • Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams to efficiently implement solutions

  • Expand test automation and help to ensure quality in different test environments

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field
  • 5-10 years hands-on experience in C++ (C++11/14/17) and/or Java (11/17+)
  • Strong object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
  • Experience with multithreading, concurrency controls, memory management and high throughput applications
  • Proficient in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, functions, triggers, indexing and performance tuning.
  • Experience designing scalable relational schemas
  • Hands-on experience with gRPC (Protocol Buffers), RESTful API's, microservices frameworks
  • Understanding of message serialization, secure communication, and service orchestrations
  • Proficient in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environment
  • Knowledge of Linux tools, system services, package management and OS tuning
  • Understanding of fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, SSL/TLS)
  • Strong experience in Bash scripting
  • Optional but valuable: Python for automation, data processing or integration tasks
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment
  • Self-driven, accountable, and capable of driving solutions end-to-end
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to FINTECH transaction systems, clearing/settlement platforms or financial messaging
  • Experience in performance engineering, low-latency optimization or high-frequency transaction environments
