Job description
We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy IT Field Technician to provide onsite support and repair services for Dell / Lenovo laptops and related hardware. This role requires travel to customer locations to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, hardware replacement, and software support. Ideal for candidates with flexible schedules and a background in IT support or computer hardware repair., Travel to client sites to service Dell / Lenovo laptops and peripheral devices.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues.
Perform part replacements (motherboards, screens, hard drives, etc.).
Install, configure, and update operating systems and drivers.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details in an easy-to-understand manner.
Adhere to service standards and protocols.
Ensure timely completion of assigned service tickets.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or IT certifications preferred).
3+ years of experience in IT support or hardware repair
A+ Certification or Dell certification (preferred but not required).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop / laptop hardware.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to lift and transport laptops and small equipment (up to 25 lbs).
