Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering - Mainframe Systems Software

• Own z/OS systems programming for one or more mainframe complexes
• Lead hardware & software lifecycle management
• Install, configure, maintain, and roll out:
• IBM mainframe software (via SMP/E)
• BMC and other ISV products
• Act as primary support for assigned complex(es)
• Environment includes 7 complexes / 50+ LPARs
• Modernize and improve services through automation and process improvement
• Partner cross?functionally with:
• Data Center Services
• Production Services
• Application Development teams
• Participate in enterprise?level planning, architecture, and operational decision?making
• Coach and mentor team members as needed

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Do you have experience in UNIX?, * 7-10+ years total IT experience (junior?senior spectrum acceptable if strong technically)

• Direct mainframe experience is mandatory
• Experience in:
• Infrastructure engineering
• Systems/software lifecycle management
• Complex project or program delivery
• Financial services or securities experience is a plus, not required
• High learning agility accepted if core z/OS systems skills are strong

These are the 2-3 skills recruiters should prioritize first:

1. z/OS Systems Programming (primary skillset)

3. ISV product installation (BMC required; Broadcom/EMC nice to have)
