Define and manage system-level requirements, including decomposition into subsystem requirements Serve as a primary technical interface with customers to ensure requirements are clearly captured and met Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment between system requirements and subsystem design Develop and manage interface control documents across hardware, software, and firmware components Lead full systems engineering lifecycle (V-model), from requirements through validation and verification Create and maintain system architecture and design documentation Conduct trade studies and rapid impact assessments to inform design decisions Perform analyses to validate that system designs meet defined requirements Drive milestone reviews and gate processes from concept through product launch Identify gaps, prioritize effectively, and lead cross-team efforts to resolve technical challenges Operate independently and navigate complex problems with minimal oversight
Requirements
We're seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer with end-to-end product lifecycle experience to lead the architecture, development, and integration of complex systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments., Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field 8+ years of systems engineering experience, ideally spanning full product lifecycle (concept to delivery) Proven ability to establish and manage technical baselines in complex systems Experience with requirements and lifecycle management tools (e.g., JAMA, Polarion, DOORS) Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., SparxEA, Capella) Proficiency in Python or similar object-oriented programming languages Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives
